About Me
If you add together 40 plus years
+ playing the bass
+ buying & selling music gear
+ working with churches & not for profits
+ a semi-retirement project
= Gear for Good Causes
I'm Gerry, over many years as a musician Quintessential Jazz Band, self-confessed "gear nut" and relentless networker, I have learned plenty about buying and selling music and sound gear. I use these skills to source and sell unwanted and unused music gear to raise funds for worthy charities.
I love seeing charities helped and good used working gear find a new home. It is also nice to keep gear out of our landfills.
How it Works
We seek donations of music & sound gear from churches, music venues, bands and individuals. Each piece of gear is tested and checked. If repairs are needed, the gear is fixed. Gear that is beyond repair is either saved for spare parts or recycled.
Once the gear is ready it is posted for sale at fair used gear value. Funds raised are donated to a registered charity. We donate the funds to the gear donor's choice of charity or to one of our Gear for Good charity partners such as The Red Cross, Journey Home Refugee Society, Mission Possible, the Long & McQuade Music Therapy Program for Sick Kids, and more.
